Photo courtesy of Dress, Design, DecorI'm a big fan of breakfast. Pancakes, eggs Benedict, granola and yogurt, oatmeal, and of course... a great cup of coffee. While recently on a trip to Napa, we were recommended a great breakfast spot in Calistoga called Cafe Sarafornia. And it was well worth it. I delighted in the Wildcat Scrambler -- a mix of eggs, spinach, mushrooms, and feta cheese with a side of hash browns. An added bonus, they use no trans fats in their cooking! The best discovery: why they named it Sarafornia. In the late 1800's, New Yorkers favorite resort was Saratoga Hot Springs. Sam Brannan, the owner, envisioned the hot springs of the west...mixing in his appetite for adult libations. xo
